Want to become a Project Leader?
Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you
love to inspire people to do their very best? Are
you interested in assuming a more active role in
your community? If so, become a Project
Leader!
Project Leaders handle all aspects of organizing
and managing our volunteer service projects.
Hands On Northwest Florida trains its Project Leaders so
that they are comfortable managing projects
requiring a range of skills from planting to
painting. We work very closely with our
Project Leaders to match them with projects
based on their skills, interests and availability
Project Leader Training Program
Each Hands On Northwest Florida project is organized and
managed by a trained volunteer Project Leader.
Hands On Northwest Florida would not be able to conduct 15+
projects a month without these Leaders.
Project Leaders are responsible for taking the phone
calls and emails from volunteers and giving them
directions and other necessary information about the
project. Project Leaders work with our Agency
Partners (the non-profit and public agencies we
serve) to organize the project. On the day of the
project, the Project Leader is the friendly face
that greets volunteers and also directs and manages
everything at the project site.
