Does your agency have a project that could use some volunteers? Hands On Northwest Florida is the link between numerous agencies and hundreds of volunteers throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.

Hands On Northwest Florida is seeking one-time and ongoing community service projects that are scheduled after work or on the weekends and are designed to make the maximum impact in the minimal amount of time, usually 3-6 hours. Hands On Northwest Florida is looking for a broad range of civic activities for volunteers. Our volunteers sort, feed, read, weed, play, plant, and more throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. To qualify, projects must meet ALL of the following guidelines:

* Be scheduled after normal business hours (on weekday evenings or weekends)
* Be group-oriented (from a minimum of 5 to 25 volunteers)
* Allow individual volunteers to participate on a flexible basis
* Involve direct service (no fundraising, administrative, clerical or work on special events)
* Typically lasts 3-6 hours on the weekends, and 2-2½ hours on the weeknights
* Involve limited to no costs to Hands On Northwest Florida and its volunteers
* Agency representative will be present; Hands On Northwest Florida does not take primary responsibility for agency's clients
* Does not involve separate specialized training aside from a brief training at the start of the project
